Jen’s Wedding at Farnham Castle Farnham

I had the pleasure of doing Jen wedding makeup at Farnham castle in Farnham, Surrey. I had a great morning as we all had a great giggle while we were getting ready. Farnham Castle is a beautiful wedding venue, and we do lots of weddings there. It has plenty of room for you and your guest to stay, and it has some beautiful places for you to get married in and have your wedding breakfast. If you were hoping to get married in a church, the castle has a beautiful little chapel which you can fit around 50 guest’s in.

I have the pleasure of getting all my brides including Jen ready in the gatehouse it is a beautiful little building with a light living room and 3 getting ready rooms with mirrors and dressing tables in them. This gives you plenty of room to get ready in the morning. Jen had a big bridal party and getting ready in the gatehouse meant we had plenty of room for everybody to get ready.

How we created Jen’s style

I went for a natural look on Jen we went for goldy browny colours in her eyes using the Charlotte Tilbury instant look in a palette. We used the Stila stay all day eyeliner in black. Which is a fantastic eyeliner as it is smudge proof and remains in place all day? We used the Dior snow foundation as Jen bases this gives a dewy fresh look leaving Jen looking healthy and glowing. We used a mixture of Dior and Nars blusher. We also went for a Nars satin lip pencil in Rikugien. I do love creating a natural look on my brides, and I like enhancing their natural features with makeup. I also put Jen eyebrows in with an Eylure brow tamer; this gives you a beautiful full eyebrow and makes them define.

I also did Jen’s mums makeup she went for a natural look to using pinks and browns on her eyes I used the mac warm neutral pallet to compliment her outfit i also went for a natural base on Jen’s mum which was a channel foundation called vitalumiere and is the very lightweight foundation with fantastic coverage.

I had the pleasure of working with senior mac photography at Jen’s wedding they take amazing pictures. They are also very calming to have around on the wedding day and are great fun.
