Elena’s Wedding at the Old Mill in Aldermaston

I had the great pleasure of doing Elena’s Wedding at the Old Mill in Aldermaston. It is a lovely wedding venue; I was very excited to be getting Elena and her bridal party ready for her big day!

It was my first time at this venue – I have been in the business for over 13 years, so I was surprised that I had not been to this venue before! Before it was a wedding venue, it was an old dairy parlour. It is perfect for English country garden weddings. It has the most gorgeous conservatory where you can have the ceremony and the gardens are AMAZING!

Elena loved her style

Elena’s Wedding at the Old Mill in Aldermaston was great fun, and I loved doing Elena’s hair as she has a short bob. I get asked by lots of brides ‘what can they do with their short hair for their wedding?’ Elena asked me this question, and I said why don’t we curl it as this is a bit different to what you usually do and it will also be soft and look perfect with your hair band – we did it and she loved it!

For her makeup, we went for a silvery charcoal colour on her eyes as this brought out her eye colour which is a gorgeous deep blue.

Elena and her bridesmaids wanted to go a for the natural fresh look, and this is what we specialise in so they were thrilled with the final hair and makeup looks.
